Even with being a little over a week into the new year, there is a chance you have already cheated on your resolution. Whether it was ordering a pizza instead of dining in or watching a movie instead of going to the gym, it is very rare to stay on track to achieve your resolution. If this has happened to you, don’t worry, as only 9.2% of people completed theirs in 2018. However, the benefits of CBD can make it a lot easier for you to get back on the right track. Are you in that 9.2% so far? Keep on reading, because the tips here will help you not fall back into your old routines.
Benefits Of CBD
CBD can help tremendously with any of the “stereotypical” New Year’s Resolutions while having applications to many others. CBD interacts with our endocannabinoid system, an internal network that helps your body maintain homeostasis or a state of internal stability.
The ECS helps maintain systems such as your mood, appetite, and memory. Many of our customers use CBD for reasons such as pain relief, post-workout recovery and even anxiety. Here we will be going through two of the most popular ones, and seeing how cannabidiol can either get you back on track or continue pursuing your goals!
Working Out Consistently
Unfortunately, there is nothing in CBD that will force you to go to the gym and work out. You will still need to make that choice for yourself (just make sure you don’t skip leg day!). However, after working out, CBD’s anti-inflammatory capabilities will help make your post-workout recovery much more manageable. No sane person who wakes up sore wants to go back to the gym. Period. With CBD, inflammation will become a distant memory of 2018.
Making New Friends
It has been reported by The University of Sao Paulo that after conducting a study of their own, that CBD contains anti-anxiety qualities. For the study, 24 individuals who had Generalized Social Anxiety Disorder were given a public speaking simulation. Before the mock presentation, half of the subjects were given a placebo, while the other half were given a single dose of 600mg of CBD.
After the “presentation” had been completed, the subjects given the placebo reported a much higher level of anxiety than those given the 600mg of CBD.
Like we mentioned with the first resolution, CBD isn’t going to get you up and put yourself out there for meeting new people. What it can do, is making it a whole lot easier.
There Is No Secret Ingredient
CBD is not a quick and easy “fix-all” solution. While it does have great benefits, achieving your New Years Resolution is going to take more than just using cannabidiol. There are many ways to get you on the right track, whether it’s waking up early to run a mile or even going to a get-together. 2019 is just beginning, there’s still plenty of time left to hit your goal.
